A couple of weekends ago, I was at Aberdeen Mall (quite a big and new Asian mall in Richmond) with few friends and after eating (the food court there is amazing!), we shopped around the mall a bit. Although there aren't a lot of shops (I should take pictures of the mall the next time I go), we stopped by Beauty Court, an Asian beauty store and looked at some O.P.I polishes that they had. They sell their polishes for $8.88 (how Asian!)! So I ended up buying a polish from O.P.I's Shrek Forever After Collection -- What's with the Cattitude?
This colour is basically a sky blue -- but the name really amuses me, just like all of the other O.P.I polishes. I'm a sucker for marketing!
Eeep! I just noticed the terrible painting job I did! Please ignore and just look at how the colour is on the nails and in sunlight! So like I said earlier, on the nails, the shade is like a sky blue -- it took about two coats for the colour to be like this (one coat was too sheer). I must say, as my first O.P.I purchase, I'm only starting to paint my nails more, so I've been investing in the polishes that I buy, I love the application. Compared to my more inexpensive polishes, this one has a smoother application and in my opinion, easier to apply. I will most definitely be buying more O.P.I polishes, but probably only in colours that I really love.
Well short post again today, and I just realized that I went a bit parentheses happy in the post! (hahaha).

ReplyDeleteaw thank-you darling! well shopping is great when u find cheap bargains! i tend to spend more on make up than clothing because i hunt for cheap but good finds in clothes/accessories but it's harder to do for make up (and i want it to be good quality as i'll be putting it on my face eekk!)
oh yes it is a really pretty color, however the gold detail comes off in the first use :( check out marine life if u dont have a bright coral blush yet though! might need justification cos it's exxy (took me a while to decide *lots of umms and ahh-ing*
i wish there was a sephora over here :(
have u tried any MUFE items? that's a brand i want to one day try especially if im over the states or canada.

Aberdeen Mall :) It's like Pacific Mall in toronto, a big asian thing filled with crazy drivers in the parking lot. Some of my non-asian friends make fun of pacific mall being a demolition derby because of how asians drive. I don't really like those stereotype jokes but meh... I really have to hop on a plane and visit vancouver soon. I keep saying it but I should do it - it's just that you're so far away T_T It takes HOURS to get to you by flight. We truly are time zones apart.

I cogratulate you for playing dodgeball, most of my girl friends just sit there and do nothing. So boring you know? I hope your finger is better though.... I hope it's just a bad bruise. When I played basketball I would always f##k up my fingers every month. Sometimes to the point where I couldn't even bend it (and thus not be able to write for a day or two). I hate finger injuries, now I know why basketball players tape up their fingers often.
